Nerisha Farquharson is a seasoned investment professional with over 15 years of experience spanning investment management, portfolio and treasury risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic business planning. Her expertise extends across public and private markets, with a deep involvement in value chain optimization, business valuation, and mergers and acquisitions.

Over the past four years, she has been deeply embedded in the private capital ecosystem, where she operates in a capacity akin to an Operating Partner—driving value creation across portfolio companies.

Nerisha currently serves as CEO, Private Capital at PROVEN Group Limited. In this role, she leads the division responsible for proprietary investments in private debt and equity. Her mandate includes end-to-end oversight of the private capital investment lifecycle—from due diligence and integration to value creation and exit strategies. She also has oversight of the Group’s capital management strategy.

She holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Technology and an MBA in International Business (with distinction) from the University of the West Indies, Mona. A CFA Charterholder since 2012, Nerisha also serves on the boards of the Caribbean Alternative Investments Association, JMMB Group Limited, and Roberts Manufacturing Company Limited in Barbados.

Beyond her professional achievements, Nerisha is a passionate advocate for mentorship and community upliftment. She curates several platforms dedicated to mentoring teenage girls and young professionals.
